Dagdi Jowar (literally, ‘Stone Jowar’) is a celebrated, traditional variety of Sorghum cultivated in the rocky, semi-arid regions of Maharashtra, recently awarded the GI (Geographical Indication) Tag for Jalna.
Its name comes from its dense, robust, and tightly-packed grains which are known for their resilience and superior nutritional content.
